This workshop will be facilitated by Rural Consulting and is FREE to attend.

- Leave with a sound understanding of what is required to meet the Freshwater Management section of the NZFAP+ standard and why these requirements exist.
- Understand Mātauranga Māori and how it relates to water.
- Find out what current testing options are available to assess water quality and what the results mean for your waterbody.
- Get a practical demonstration into how to complete Stream health Monitoring following the NIWA SHMAK protocols.
- Take part in the collection of an eDNA and Hills Laboratories Surface Water Quality test.
- An opportunity to sit down for a 1-1 session with a consultant from Rural Consulting Ltd to cover the following:
- Discuss the results for any water testing you may have already conducted and what these mean for the health of your waterbody.
- Gain access to templates/resources which support you to undertake your own water quality sampling.
- Discuss NZFAP+ requirements and what is required to be audit ready.
