Developing Your Farm Emergency Plan 14 May 2026 flyer

This workshop will be facilitated by Lee Cowan, who has extensive emergency communications and management experience – Lee is passionate about helping rural communities to be prepared for adverse events.

📅 Date: Thursday, 14th May 2026
Time: 10 am – 1.00 pm
📍 Venue: Lakeside Soldiers Memorial Hall, 164 Harts Road
🥪 Free lunch provided

  • Identify and address adverse events and other risks to your farming business
  • Leave with your own integrated ‘farm emergency plan’ that will help you stay connected with your community and family
  • Plan out actions to ensure you have the essentials and can maintain communications with family and neighbours
  • Lee will bring up lot of things you won’t have thought about – with solutions

As a farmer who was out of action for over a year said “developing ‘a farm emergency plan
for farm business continuity is a good idea – doing some thinking before the curved ball
arrives is very helpful – especially for those who are left holding the baby!”

This event is not to be missed and will be a lot of fun – get some friends organised to come along and catch-up with them over a free lunch.
