SUMMARY:Grow-safe refresher / Certified Handler Courses
DESCRIPTION:Many farmers are aware their Grow Safe certificates will be expiring soon and there are also new Certified Handler requirements for those working with chemicals. \nIn order to help farmers keep up to date with the safe use of Agrichemicals\, ESAI is coordinating  two events which will enable up to 24 Ellesmere farmers to meet these requirements in one day\, without leaving the district.\nThe first course on Tuesday 19 October is almost fully booked (10 of 12 places taken; the Growsafe Refresher course will run in the morning; Certified Handler course in the afternoon).\nA second course will be run on Wednesday 20 October depending on demand. Courses will be facilitated by Educhem.\nThe cost is $595+GST for both (normally $995+).  Anyone needing a full Growsafe and Certified handler qualification can be accommodated for $700+GST but they would need to attend for a full day and half.\nVenue:  Lakeside Soldiers Memorial Hall.\nTo secure your place\,  contact Jo Fearn (021 030 4783 jo.tinaku@esai.co.nz
